Terms of Use
These terms apply when you use the website webaze.be, in any of its language versions. They are short on purpose.
They cover the website only. When you hire us, a quotation and our General Terms and Conditions apply instead (see section 7).
1. Who we are
Webaze BV (besloten vennootschap, a Belgian private limited company)
Registered office: Boerderijstraat 39, 8500 Kortrijk, Belgium
Company number (KBO/BCE): 0880.381.007 · VAT: BE 0880.381.007 · RPR Gent, division Kortrijk

2. Using the website
You may browse, read, and share links to the website freely. Please don't:
- use it for anything unlawful, or in a way that infringes the rights of others;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or the tools behind it (such as analytics.webaze.be or newsletter.webaze.be), or disrupt them;
- send spam, malware, or automated submissions through our forms;
- scrape or copy the website at scale, or use its content to train AI models or build a competing service, without our written permission.
We may restrict access for anyone who breaks these rules.
3. Content and intellectual property
The texts, designs, illustrations, photos, logos, code and other content on this website belong to Webaze BV or to the parties who licensed them to us, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. The name "Webaze" and our logo are ours.
You may view the content and quote short passages with a clear reference to webaze.be, within the limits the law allows. Any other reproduction, adaptation or commercial use requires our prior written permission.
Client names, logos and project descriptions shown as references remain the property of those clients and are used with their permission or under article 18 of our General Terms. Product names, fonts and open-source components of third parties are used under their own licences.
4. Information on the website
We write the content carefully and keep it up to date, but it is general information about our services and products. It is not a binding offer or professional advice for your specific situation. Descriptions, availability, features and prices can change, and only become binding in a quotation or agreement we confirm in writing.
Products shown as "coming soon" or "in development" may launch later, look different, or not launch at all.
5. Product updates, newsletter and demos
When you sign up for updates about a product ("Notify me"), we email you about that product's launch, and nothing else. If you sign up for a newsletter, you receive only what the sign-up form describes. Signing up is free and creates no obligation on either side: it is not a pre-order or a reservation. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email.
Asking for a demo or for information about a product (such as Masquerade) is also free and non-binding. Any trial, licence or other use of a product is governed by the separate terms we agree with you in writing at that time.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your email address and other details.
6. Links to other websites
The website links to services we do not control, such as LinkedIn. We are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Their own terms apply once you follow a link.
7. Working with us: General Terms and Conditions
Every quotation, assignment and delivery by Webaze BV is governed by our General Terms and Conditions (version 1.1 of 10 September 2026), available in Dutch (the authentic text) and in an English translation. We work only with businesses (companies and self-employed people acting for their business), and those terms are written for them.
Contacting us, asking for a demo or sending a message through the website does not create an agreement. An agreement is formed only when a quotation is accepted as described in the General Terms. In case of conflict, the quotation and the General Terms prevail over these Terms of Use for anything related to an assignment.
8. Availability
The website is provided as it is and as available. We may change, pause or remove (parts of) it at any time, for example for maintenance. We do not promise that it will always be available, error-free or free of viruses, and you are responsible for protecting your own devices.
9. Liability
The website is free to use. To the extent permitted by law, Webaze BV is not liable for damage arising from:
- using, or being unable to use, the website;
- relying on information published on it;
- interruptions, errors, viruses or other technical issues;
- the content or practices of websites we link to.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or any liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law, including your rights as a consumer, if you are one.
For assignments, liability is governed by article 10 of our General Terms and Conditions, not by this section.
10. Privacy
How we handle personal data collected through the website, including analytics, cookies, forms and sign-ups, is explained in our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time, for example when the website or the law changes. Changes apply only to use of the website after they are published; the version published on this page applies to your use at that moment. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Belgian law. If a dispute arises, please contact us first. We'd much rather solve it by talking.
Failing that, the courts of the judicial district of West-Vlaanderen have exclusive jurisdiction, in particular the Companies Court of Gent, Kortrijk division, for disputes with businesses. This is the same choice as in article 22 of our General Terms.
If you are a consumer, the previous paragraph does not apply to you: you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you can go to the courts that are competent under that law, including those of your place of residence.
If any provision of these terms is invalid, the rest remains in force.
13. Language
These terms are available in Dutch and in English. The Dutch version is the original. In case of discrepancy between the two, the Dutch text prevails, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules.
14. Contact

Dutch version prevails. This is a translation of the Dutch original. In the event of any discrepancy between the two versions, the Dutch text is decisive.
